or if you know the names of the fonts, maybe you can download them from a font website into your computer fonts folder, there are font sites like www.dafont.com and many others where you can download free fonts.

First do you have your blade holder in the back?, Is the carriage head firmly on the tracks? Try raising your blade up more, should just barely be sticking out of holder. 1/2 a credit card thickness lower your force.

there are sites that have free fonts to download such as www.dafont.com and others, just use a search engine like www.dogpile.com and search free fonts. there are tons out there.. when you get in there site just enter 3d fonts or such. and see what they have. or in the search engine enter 3d fonts. You will find some. Maybe not what you want ,, but you will find something

you haven't stated what type of Flexi , you are using Flexistarter? or Flexi Pro. If Flexistarter you cannot do in there,, no option, You will have to design in another program with more capibilities. like inkscape.org. adobe illustrator, corel, and import your work into Flexistarter. But as I stated there are 3d fonts,, You will have to locate them elsewhere.

When I use the clear app tape, I actually, lay the clear tape on the table with the adhesive side up, put a little weight on a corner, like scissors, metal tape measure to keep it down, then start at one end of the decal, and kind of apply it to the clear tape.. not just lay the whole decal on it, but kind of roll slowly the decal from one end to the other, smoothing it out as I go. also if you want to do layering different colors. you can still use paper tape,, do your main decal in paper, and apply pieces of clear tape on the registration marks to see them..

There are numerous on EBAY metal will fit all PCut series, different prices.. You do not need a Roland to get a metal one. you stated you are using Flexi 7.6... BUT you didn't state whether it is Flexistarter 7.6 or Pro7.6 or another version... some things do not work in Flexistarter that will work in the full version of FlexiPro.

I think what you have to do is write on a path, then erase the path,,

sounds like you need to adjust your knife offset, try going 5 degrees one way at a time, if it gets worse, try going 5 degrees the other way..

also under VIEW is toolbars or CTRL+T as shortcut

on my Flexistarter cut/plot is Ctrl+L See if you can run your cursor around the edges, sometimes I move them too far away and they get hidden at the edges. ,,, or reinstall Flexi

did you try closing the Flexi and opening it back up? And seeing if it appears again..

what I do, is go into a Search engine like www.dogpile.com and enter roger regular font and see what it can find for you..

also at the top of your main Flexi screen is HELP. click it and Help topics.. Alot of pertains to Flexi Pro, but some still pertains to Flexistarter...

Great Bill, I knew you would, I have only had mine hooked up to USB and NEVER, had a problem,,,,, yes it is quite the machine.

I think I have it,, very ez takes few seconds, bring your design up in wire frame, now just delete all nodes on the very outside of your whole design, it reverses it. like in my picture shown, I pulled the angel in and look the very outside line off all the way around the design took seconds to do. Then you have your solid..

If I am understanding it right, they want the design reversed, Where it is cut out and weeded away. ,, is solid. and will stay there. . where paths are, will be gone. and weeded away. ,,, am I close? Thus making a stencil of the snowman , where his coat, hat and scarf and other areas would be solid.
