Trying to sync my flexisign program with my PCUT CTN630
MZ SKEETER replied to madcreativ's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Here is the latest Flexi driver pack,, but I don't know how to help you with such an older version of Flexi.. Have you considered updating your version to current. Or possibly just buying a copy of Flexistarter, just to cut with,, Flexistarter is all I use. and I have 30" Graphtec. works great for cutting. You should still be able to design in Flexi pro and import, Or just download the FREE Signblazer , it is compatible with the Pcut.. You can find the downloads in the Signblazer thread at the very top. http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=44&nav=0,4 -
you might be able to make one of these work http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/127465689/

pcut 630 carriage replacement
MZ SKEETER replied to lmasse8326's topic in Creation PCUT Cutting Plotter Support Requests
is this the instructions that you found? Found on this thread info left by Levi http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,25735.0.html In order to swap the carriage arm on this unit you must follow the steps below. 1) Remove the face plate from the carriage. 2) Loosen the hex screw at the top of the shaft that is connected to the carriage arm. 3) Loosening the two screws that are at the end of the springs on the top of the carriage. This will allow you to pull the carriage off of the track. 4) Remove the carriage arm and replace it with the new one. Best of luck. Give us a call at 888-298-8143 if you continue to have problems. -
Not sure either, I had a person a couple of weeks ago with the same problem, was cutting too big though. Your measured and your expected sizes should match.

to upload a picture, design etc, at the left of the reply box is ADDITIONAL Options, upload it there,

your sooo funny Bill. the ones I really enjoy answering is fixing the Signblazer problems, and as you know, I have NEVER even used it. LOL but I have it downloaded to look at,
-
on your Signblazer cutter set up screen below BLADE offset, is CUTTING SIZE CORRECTION in a white box. , click it. You will get a box that says OUT PUT size correction,, when you have your design entered on the screen and the size you want. the out put measured sizes should match the expected size you want. If not, then change so it does. I hope that is the problem.

your welcome

you can put Signblazer on as many computers as you want,, It is free software. You can download it from the top of the Signblazer thread (Dark lettering posts). and from the EBAY ads that US cutter sells their cutters on.
-
alright!!!! your welcome

I have Flexistarter 8.5 and 8.6 and yes there is a weld feature, you have to open your cut/plot screen, at the top are tabs, look under ADVANCED, THE LAST TAB TO RIGHT , mine has auto weld
-
you can design in Signblazer and www.inkscape.org which is also free
-
If you are cutting it, try using weld in your cutting software.
-
maybe try EFFECTS> pathfinder> merge.

CE5000 won't cut from Flexistarter
MZ SKEETER replied to Dr Smith's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
it is on your cutter.. look in your Graphtec user manual. You can download it from Graphtec, and also should be on your Graphtec disc. -
glad to hear you had a great experience, Your question about Signblazer, the company is no longer in business, So it will always be a trial version. You can actually download Signblazer right from the top of the Signblazer thread. Dark blue lettering
-
your welcome and thanks for the compliment, This ol' gal will always accept those.
-
sorry I don't design them. LOL I have no idea, I just know how to get around it. Like I said, I have alot of scrap, So I use what I can.
-
my Graphtec is the same way. See if there is a screw in the back that they are using as a stopper for the pinch roller, I keep a screw driver on top my machine just for that. I can loosen the screw and it is in a little piece of metal that slides either way in a slot/track. So I can bring both pinch rollers right together to do little 2- 3" wide pieces.
-
I have sooooo many pieces of scrap pieces of all sizes, it is unbelievable. because my projects are usually large, My vinyl comes in boxes that are 24" x 7" x 7" ?? and 30" x 7" x 7" ? I cut the panel out of one side of the box. I roll my scraps up and stand in the box, I write on the backing length and color.. I roll the vinyl on inside to keep dust off. When needed, just reroll the opposite way, let sit for about 10 minutes will lay flat again.
