I know who you are referring to, as far as paying for fixing your problem, Their living "IS" repairing computers, and computer problems. So, why should they work for FREE? You have spent 2 days trying to get your computer to communicate with your cutter, and pulling your hair out in frustration. Their fee is very small compared to your frustration level right now. Many forum members have used their services and it's a small price to pay. UScutter tech support is FREE...then go with that.

you cannot open .eps files in inkscape. import svg files, you can export .eps files from inkscape.

are you sure you have everything matching in your computer and Signblazer? use the newbie manual, if you need help, download in first post. I don't use Corel. But Corel is not cutting software. this is how 1 guy says you can cut from Corel, I have not used it. just showing you his post

you ask permission from the owners of all copywritten designs. Usually you will have to sign a contract, pay a license fee, pay the owner a percentage of your sales. Must sell a certain volume of sales. Designs being sold must meet their specifications and quality.

you can get everything right here. and you can download Signblazer as many times as you want, there is no activation code. It is a permanent trial. You can look under the Signblazer thread and find post with links. You have to save your design files as an older version of .eps such as Illy version 8. can't answer your question on Signblazer, but inkscape vectorizes much better and is FREE inkscape.org Vectorising in Inkscape Posted by Levi Hartzog on 16 January 2009 02:31 PM This walk through explains the basics of vectorising in Inkscape. Step 1) Import your image. Click File>Import, find your file and click OK. Step 2) Select the image, go to the top of the screen, click Path>Trace Bitmap. Step 3) The Trace Bitmap menu will then open. Here you can select how you want your image vectorised and adjust the settings. You can also generate a preview. Once you are happy with the preview click OK and close the Trace Bitmap screen. Step 4) Now you will have your new vector image and the old raster (bitmap, jpeg, gif etc) image stacked on top of each other. Seperate the two and delete the raster. Step 5) Play around with your new vector image!

yes this screen ALSO saves your svg file. In case you have to go back into inkscape and edit the original file. Inkscape cannot import .eps files, only svg files.

your question was answered before. The MH series does not recognize advance after cut in Flexi software

I heard this will work with Flexi files also, worth a try, I copied this from a post on the forum, but haven't tried yet. have been using CutStudio for years and had the same problems. What I do if I need to simply convert one of my .cst files is have the design open in cutstudio ; click/highlight the actual artwork I want to convert and copy it to the clipboard (CTRL-C); then open Signblazer (which is free) and then PASTE (CTRL-V) it into an open session of Signblazer. Then resize it in Signblazer, and hit CTRL-E (or go to FILE and EXPORT) in Signblazer and it will take you to the Export Screen ; at the bottom left corner of the screen, change the file type to .EPS, give it a file name, select the location folder to save it to and click OK. Sounds like alot but it only takes a few seconds and it works great for me! Thumbsup

what version of Flexi? and on what type of computer operating system?

you don't get support with pirated software. Your support system is whoever gave you a burnt disc. Or in your case, you got what you paid for...NOTHING!!! Goodluck with that. Try Signblazer

You are correct on 8.1 ... Contact SAI. and give them your license number, They will help you out, or if you can afford it, upgrade to a newer version. Once you have already purchased Flexi, it does not cost as much to upgrade. Sorry can't help you.
