hi all, after spending a couple weeks with us and playing with our Copam 3050 my Mom decided to buy a cutter of her own. She bout a MH series package and is trying to get it set up. She installed the software (Sure Cuts A Lot Pro Ver 4) but it is giving her a "the security code is already in use" error. She e-mailed tech support but they are closed for the weekend. Has anyone else ran into this before? She was really hoping to get familiar with it this weekend. Thanks Chad

She bought new from US Cutter. I believe it's been handled thank you

No, not sure why it's like that. I'm going to cut the letters all white and red. It should show up fine on the tinted windows of his shop

I'm at my whits end lol. I'm trying to import my buddies logo into SB, when I do I get the progress bar but when it's done nothing shows up. I've had this issue before, not sure if it's to big for the memory on my computer or what. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to be able to cut a simple 2 color decal for them. Worked great thank you so much. I was pulling my hair out with this I'm going to look into it, thanks I do use Inkscape, mainly to trace JPEG then save as EPS then open in SB, I didn't know you could copy/paste. I'll play with it. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the info, ill have to get illustrator. Is there another cutting software that works well? I own a motorcycle shop, I only cut decals for myself and every once in awhile for a friend. So I'm not looking to spend much for software.

It's going on the shop window, I haven't seen it yet but I was thinking white and red. Would 3 colors be better?

Thank you, ill try it tomorrow when I get to the computer with signblazer on it!!

I'm making a sign for work, I plan on powder coating it and I want to make a stencil of some flames for the bottom of the sign. I plan on ghosting the flames with powder coat. the sign will be 26" wide and i'l like the flame tips to be maybe 6 - 8" tall. I have tried the search here and went through 6 pages of results with no luck. Here's something what I am looking for. Can anyone help?

that's very cool. Thanks all.

Hi guys, i'm looking for an old simple Rat Rod type car to cut. 1 or 2 colors would be ideal. Thanks
-
Thanks!! The bottom one is the look I want just not as detailed. Not sure if my Copam cutter could handle it.

I bought them thanks. I open them up in SB and they seam to be a little to detailed for what I need. I'm trying to do some node editing to get one to work, but I think this computer is to slow or something. I'm needing something to cut out for the door on my buddies hot rod shop.

30's - 50's. Nothing in the muscle car era.

I did find an outline tab in signblazer, but it's hashed out and when I click it it says "this function is not supported in this level of signblazer". So apparently I either need to try to get a different level or find different software. Any advice on that?

I got the fonts and it's exactly what I needed!! One more question though. Does anybody know how to outline it in Signblazer? I need to put the white part in the "Bobby Mock" part of this. The rest is pretty simple. Bobby owned a motorcycle shop and unfortunately passed away, his daughter is a friend of mine and they are turning a gas tank into an urn and this decal will be placed on it. So it is very sentimental to his family. Thanks so much.

Well, I got my heat press and some HTV the other day and put my logo on some shirts and hoodies. I enjoyed it so much i'd rather do this than work on bikes lol

I'm guessing after the placed the decal they realized it was hard to read, maybe?? So they painted a background?

I used a lighter grey screen, I thought the darker stuff would be harder to see through

I just use fiberglass screen material you can get at Lowes. No space between the glass. I remove the plexi, wrap the screen around it a little then put the plexi back in. The majority of the media will bounce off the screen. I blasted a lot of stuff when I was doing powder coating, I can't remember the last time I had to replace the plexi. I bet I have at least 20-30 hours blasting in it right now, at least. All I do is blow it off every once in awhile will the air gun. I think I bought a roll of screen for like $6

Another tip to get your plexiglass to last longer is to put screen material under it. You don't notice it when the light is on and it'll about double the life of the plexiglass. The replaceable film is worthless IMO

Thanks for the info, i'm going to give it a go. I plan on doing the bike that's in my picture, What's the digital thermometer for? I'm going to check out youtube then try to figure out the best place to order material from, I'll more than likely go with a matte finish. Thanks again.
