Wow that looks really good. Has anybody here ever done a motorcycle? I'm thinking about maybe doing one of mine. What tools are required to make the job better?

I have the heat press for mugs, I am looking for someone to make me some sublimation transfers so I can put them on mugs. I am thinking like 50 of each of the following. Just the color one on the Moon Landscaping, I would like to add a phone number under it. Would anybody be interested in quoting me a price? feel free to PM me. I can use PayPal. MoonLogo-1.pdf

Couple more I made today, My friend is preggo so I thought this would be cute, the other one my wife wanted and I wanted to see if this HTV would go on a waffle shirt. Worked real good.

http://www.uscutter.com/5-in-1-Heat-Press This one, but i'm already wishing I would of gotten a larger one. I know it's not the best quality one out there, but it seams to work really good. I'll probably upgrade after the first of the year.

Thanks guys it's addicting for sure. I was bummed out all day because I had to build a stupid big bore in a motorcycles instead for make some more shirts. I threw that picture up on my shops facebook page and I am already getting orders for them. 12 shirts and 16 hoodies, and 4 hats today alone. Looks like i'm going to have to teach my wife and sis-in-law how to do them. On a side note, how cool is it when people are willing to pay you to wear your logo?

Sounds interesting, as long as you place the garment the same every time

I have the font, can anyone tell me how to outline and drop shadow it in SB please? I've been messing with it all afternoon lol
-
Awesome, thanks a ton.

I have a EPS file that my Graphics guy sent me of a logo he designed, when I go to import it into SB I get the progress bar across the screen but nothing loads. I've tried using both full postscript interpreter and postscript scanner (whatever those are) same results with each. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Great tip, i'll try that. Thank you

I got it to open in SignCut, but i'm not familiar at all with that program.
-
That' s very generous of you, where can I send it to?
-
OK, he's gone now untill next week, bummer. I was wanting to get this cuttable. Any other free program that you know of that will allow me to save it in an older version?

OK, so I ordered a heat press so I can make shirts for my shop. My logo is 2 color. 1'st? Do I apply each layer to the shirts separate or can I put them together then apply like I would a decal? 2nd? Is there a special application tape I use after weeding? Or is the same medium tack stuff I use for vinyl sufficient? 3rd? Where is the best place to buy the parchment paper? lol Hobby type shop? Here's my logo, any advice on the best technique to get this on a shirt would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for the info, i'll order the teflon sheets and pick up some parchment paper as well, so I have something to use while i'm waiting for the teflon. I really appreciate the info.

Hi all, I just started up a new motorcycle shop and i'm looking at getting some shirts and possibly hoodies made up with my logo. I don't know what the best bargain is as far as silk scree, HTV or printed is so i'm needing some basic info. I have no problem buying a press and then paying someone for the transfers or just getting everything done by a pro. I kind've like the idea of just buying a bunch of tranfers in a few sizes that way I can just apply them as needed. Here is my logo that I made, the simple 2 color one seams like it would be easy for me to just buy the HTV and make myself, I think all I would really need would be a press??? But I really like the other one (on the business cards) and that one would need to be printed?? Any advice would be great. The 2 color one would also include my phone number and city. I have it saved in ESP or JPEG just not on this computer.

All good advice, I do have an infrared Thermometer. I'm not in the habit of buying cheap things anyways so i'll go somewhere middle of the road. No sense buying one now and upgrading it later. I can see wanting to make lots of merchandise for my shop anyways so i'll just spend a little more from the get go. I've been searching around a little today and i've just about got myself convinced that I need a vinyl printer as well.
-
Ok guys, you've convinced me. I'm ordering HTV now and going to look at presses. Any suggestions? I don't need top of the line, this will just be used for doing stuff for my shop.

I googled it and answered my own question. Is anyone willing to make me some of the ones on the card in plastisol? Say 50 large (back of a shirt) and 50 small (front breast) size? If so, a rough estimate?
-
Thank you, i'm not familiar with plastisol, is this something that is printed then heat transfered? If so I might be interested in having a bunch of them made up, then I could transfer them myself as needed.

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. Joker, I'm leaning towards this option. It looks like if I did this I could possibly save enough money on my first order (if having the shirts made) to pay for the press.
-
I get that thanks, I just don't want to be rude and take away from the O.P.
-
Good tip, I tried that and didn't like it at all, but if I change the day abbreviations all to 3 letters I think it will look much nicer. What all do you do at your other shop? I'm looking to have some shirts made up.

I opened up a new shop so i lettered the doors and my truck. I'm no pro at this so critique away!! I have thick skin. lol
