Doesn't Signblazer only accept older .eps files? IMHO, the option of getting Illustrator as a monthly subscription and exporting into SCALP is the way to go for EPS files. No limit on new files. Also works with .ai files too.

Wishlist for SCAL3Pro features you would like to see added.

If you install the script in Illustrator, you can directly export an .eps into SCALP. Not as easy as being a native format, but it gets you there. Plus, it's easier to edit the .eps in Illustrator. -
From an IP perspective, even if you change small things (like rounded versus sharp corners, removing a small part, etc) it is the same. Not that the Army is going to come after you for one sticker.

My initial assesment and continuing help thread

SCALP might have some problems, but remember they are being fixed compared to SB that people seem to love. The developers seem to be working on things and if they can accept EPS files, we'll be pretty good. -
Click on the pen icon (first box on left) and toggle the colors on and off just like SignCut. I would like to see a way to put in alignment marks.

In Signcut I noticed if I put anything in for an offset it creates a problem. I leave it at zero and everything works ok. Might be worth trying with a zero offset.
-
In Signcut you just rotate the image 90* with the button on the bottom. For small scraps, move the rollers on the cutter to the vinyl and then just set your origin so it's on the front right corner of the vinyl. For layered peices, Signcut has a good video on how to do it on their website.

SC Series - Random cuts across image and off to the sides
romoman replied to Krookz's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I had all kinds of trouble when I put a cutter offset in Signcut. Everything worked fine through USB to my SC cutter until I changed the offset. With .25 in for offset, nothing cut right. Put offset back to 0 and it works perfect. -
Pretty well. I hope it's not bad form, but I copied the file and made one. It's on yellow becuase I had a scrap peice around. I cut it 9.3" wide x 7" tall on my SC series cutter. I think it came out great and no problems weeding.
