I started with a p-cut and moved up as the cutters paid for themselves - p-cut or refine will cut the vinyl you need. you mentioned printing though and if you want printed this is another ball of wax altogether and to do it properly you are looking at 12000+ just for a starter by the way Welcome from Michigan

Good time to add the reminder to use a good surge suppressor and and extra ground wire never hurts. when we heat in the winter even with the whole house humidifier static is an issue and even worse since we are using vinyl in our jobs!

I can speak from experience - if you decide to go sublimation go with a good vender with the support . . .worth every penny in the end. I use conde. The Ricoh 7000 with a set of inks will be around $1200

submit a support ticket. one thing they will have your check is to remove the bottom and make sure all the cables are attached to the motherboard correctly. someone recently had one that had a cable come loose in shipping

2 things, make sure the carriage is sitting in the track and make sure your blade holder is all the way seated in the back hole if there are 2 holes
