So much for a "simple question" huh? -

Man ya'll are cheap! I might start subbing all my stuff out to ya'll and just be the middle man and just sit back and collect the money. I suggest the OP jump on one of these deals! -

Sounds like a great price to me! -
I use a homemade solution. I think Banner John may be the one that posted the formula I picked up on. Works good and the price is right!

I have the SC and am very happy with it. I also have a graphtec. The SC was my first cutter and took a bit of trial and error to get it dialed in (I also had no prior experience so it took me a bit longer than others). I have been able to get some really good results and fine detail with the SC. You have to know how to rub the machine right. It will really do some good work with tweaking. I actually tend to us my SC more than the graphtec because of ease of use. (that is more than likely my very own opinion) as I find it faster and easier to get vinyl loaded, lined up and cutting. (for most jobs) Now, when precision is important.... the graphtec gets the job for sure. My SC is 24" and the graphtec is 60" so just based on size the SC is just quicker most of the time. Both machines have a place in my shop!

windsheild banner pricing
xpaperman replied to tgbvinyl's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
What is your material cost and are you installing or just supplying the vinyl? -
I don't know when they officially started selling them but when I saw them I bought some and have had them for awhile and havent even tried them. I buy so much sub stuff cause I wanna play with it but just can't seem to catch up on the vinyl side to play. Although I have had lots of interest (and sold) for sub bag tags and sub towels for some local disc golf clubs. Check into that in your area. Especially if you have any fairly new courses!

what about using them on a ball cap? might class it up a bit vs. just vinyl

I have a 6'x10' enlcosed cargo trailer. I don't use it. It's practically brand new. It just sits in the driveway. I have been contemplating tossing in a portable AC, and a generator just so I can have an extension of my home office. that being said... If I wanted to go mobile for something for some reason.... I could.

T-shirt pricing tips
xpaperman replied to cjs's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
With HTV tho, on large orders.... depending on design, you can Break up the design and utilize more of the vinyl with less waste and using less vinyl. Not all designs are good to break up tho cause sometimes its better left as one whole design to speed up press time..... You learn things like this over time with experience. -
Making the 'Ol lady happy........ priceless!

From one bowler to another..... Great Job!

I would go with Banner John, but another option (if you have it on a roll) is a 4 foot tall banner and cut of about 15 inches and hem to 1 foot. Just turning the banner the other way. However... if your not stocking any banner rolls.... this probably won't help you but just throwing it out..... who knows, it may help someone down the road.

I have been through almost a dozen cases with no cracked or broken mugs. All mine so far have come from Conde.

There does come a time when you reach limits of what you can do with what you got to work with. I too have the SC machine and with some tweaking on pressure, blade depth and even speed.... you can really get some good results. The SC is a pretty good low end cutter..... but..... it does have its limits.

If necessary looks like it wouldn't take to long to do a manual trace in corel with the bezier tool. Just a thought if you can't match it.
