Be sure to use the import option rather than the open file option.

Look around, it's already here. Mindless people walking/driving/eating with their face in their phone, might as well be a zombie.

Advice on working from home please.

Just do a google search for free web hosting. There are dozens out there. Building the page may take some time and reading though. Some hosters have tools for creating web pages and getting up and running with a generic format pretty quickly. Others just assume you know what you are doing and leave it at that. -
Depending on the software, some give you the option to adjust the spacing between lines. Inkscape offers this. Just enter your text spelling out learning with a return between each line, center it, then adjust the Spacing Between Lines till you're happy. Then you can either try and line up the A's on top of each other, or leave the A out of one of the words.

For me, just playing around and asking questions is the only way I've ever "learned" software. Just start out with simple things and work your way up.

Did you ask who made the hat, maybe you can get the image file from them.

A Facebook buisness page would be an easy start. Just use it more for showing what you've done/can do, and as a way for people to contact you. There are also tons of free web site services but they usually have annoying adds, and can be a pain to setup on your own. -
How to go about using an extremely large psd file

Why not just ask him to send you the file again in a format you can use? -
Doesn't have the correct words, the image is right, http://vector.me/browse/61483/air_combat_command

Any one have a combine to share? I don't need one but this post got me looking around to see what I could find. There are some ok pay ones out there but free is always better. ha!

Have you adjusted your offset? Won't completely fix the problem but may help reduce it.
-
Does your shape fill the cutter area? If not, I'd try sliding the pinchers to the area you will be cutting.

Some where on page 2 I think.

Mine loves water as in a pond or lake but hates the hose and refuses to go out in the rain.

I have a black lab that doesn't like to play fetch, I thought all labs loved to play fetch. She also rarely plays with any of her toys and the only thin she's ever tried to chew on that she wasn't supose to was a stuffed bear. Got her a giant stuff bunny to chew on and she wouldn't touch it. Sat in her toy box for almost 2 years then one day she started playing with it and had it tore up after about 2 weeks.

Double checking your design in wireframe mode is a good way to catch things like this before you cut and waste vinyl.

Has the blade gone dull? Is it sticking out far enough?

EPS is a pretty standard vector file and most cutting software should be able to open it. There are different version of EPS files though and older software may not be able to open the newer EPS files. There are tons of programs out there that can open EPS files and save off as something else, or as an older format. Just do a google search and you should find plenty of free programs that will help you out.

What file format are they? Most likely there is a converter program out there that can convert them to something SCALP can open.

That effect is more of a 3D effect than a shadow. I'd look into 3D effects with your software to see if you can get the look you want.

I don't get it... Vector won't cut how it looks..

I can't see the images right now, but I'm guessing that the font did not come out the way you wanted? When the EPS file was created, there should be an option to convert text to paths, do that and then things should come out the way you want. The other option, you would need to install the desired font on your computer you are using to do the cutting. -
Where do any of you get supplies such as squeegees from? I was looking for some Lidco Nylon squeegees as suggested by another post on here. I found some for $2 but shipping on them is like $12. I hate paying so much for shipping for something that is so cheap. I'd love to find a local place that sells supplies but when doing a google search for sign supplies I'm not having any luck finding anything useful. I'm in Fort Worth, TX, I know there are some places over in Dallas but that's a pretty good drive and would cost more in gas than the $12 shipping.

Other than keeping the rolls seperate from each other, I don't really see how that rack setup is any better/worse than laying the rolls on a shelf. It does look nice though.

Wow, that's a pretty narrow temperature range, I don't even keep my house that cool.

You can also do a select all, copy and paste from Inkscape into SignBlazer and skip the EPS stage.
