Well, I am getting into something a little different but still along the lines of the printing world, just with the addition of water. Let me know what you guys think!

Need some help in buying a printer/cutter
PointOfExpression replied to stickerman's topic in Printers
You can get stuff printed cheaper from bigger companies then you can print for so why not make more money subbing out the work and not have to do anything -
Outsource the stickers and save yourself the headache

I have a nice mug press for sale! If you are interested, it is at about the $400.00 range. Message me if you are!

Looking for a good place to out source some laminated stickers

I can get you a price. Message me -
That is not to make full color stickers. You will need a eco-solvent printer which will run you about 8k and up

Oh, I completely read your previous message wrong. I thought you said you had a different style blade which allowed you to cut in that groove (possibly some sort of bent holder) -

Mine has the cutting groove as well but not a different position. What blade holder would I need for that (if any) -

Okay, that may explain it then. Where did you buy it from? -

Looks like you may be right. I went to graphtecs uk site and it does show a second groove for perf cutting but nothing about it going into a second position. In the pictures it looks the same. I wonder why they would make them differently. -

I have the 6000. Please take a photo of your blades in the two positions as mine definitely does not have two positions. There is also no setting within the plotter for perf cutting. You need to use cutting master 2 to get it to work. The pages you are referring to do not state anything about two blade position but rather that the machine is capable of doing it which I already know it can as I do it on a daily basis. Please attach the 2 photos/ -

I do not see anywhere where is says they come with a perf function nor a two blade position. I have one and mine definitely does not have a two blade position. -

The Ce models do not have a perf setting on them which does not move the blade into a different position. Only the FC models have that function. I use a cutting mat has mine cuts into the cutting strip on the plotter and allows me to use the entire sheet for contour cutting and registering the reg marks. -
You need to have cutting master 2 plugin for illustrator

Your blade will tear up the plotters cutting strip if you do not have one.
