    Castle, Rock, Knight, Renaissance

Have you tried doing a clip art search? That's the easiest way I've found at getting hard to find images.

    Did i do ok?

I think you did great! I just sold 20 stickers myself. 10 were 4x6 and 10 were 6x8. All white and I got $100.00 for them. Here in NY, my biggest seller so far is the F**K Cuomo sticker where I use a AR for the F and the K. I've sold over 40 of them so far and am currently making another 60 more for a upcoming gun show.

What got you into vinyl cutting?

My niece worked for a body shop doing the vinyl work there and they charge ungodly high prices. So I looked in to the equipment started out and have loved it since, Started doing shirts as well. Hoping to try etched glass soon and in the process of having a hydrographics tank being built.

    some wall art

    Layered?
  10. The company I work for needs 1100 almost street like signs made up with the 2D barcodes on them. I plan on using sublimation to do these signs. Each sign will have 10 of the 2D barcodes on it. I've priced out the material for the sign itself and 1100- 5"x32" aluminum sign blanks comes to $4224.00 plus shipping. Now I'll also have to buy all the sublimation paper and ink. I'm putting these plates on piano hinges to hang from the racks. They are for a warehouse to designate rack locations. The company spent $5300.00 on these cheap stickers that keep getting torn from the fork lifts hitting them. I was expecting this to take a month to complete due to me having a day job. I also plan on adding some vinyl work in as well. That will be 1100 number combos like 07-0765-A and 032. The number combos would be 4"x6" and 4"x10". My question was, how exactly do you sublimation guys figure out your pricing? I'm planned on giving them a quote that is about 4 times the $5300.00 they spent on the cheap stickers. I figure the plates will be scratch resistant and the vinyl is a extra to add a uniform appearance.

    This will be my first

Well, I bought a used printer......thinking of spending the extra to just get a new one and not worry about dealing with the used one. I will have to bu the ink as well though. I'm thinking of going threw Cobra Ink, heard nothing but good about them. Each sign will cost me $3.84. I agree with you on doing it for a lower cost, its actually helped build quite a clientèle with just my vinyl business. I'm gonna get back into the shirt biz and hoping on going into the Hydrographics part as well very shortly. Currently having a tank built for that, I can't wait!!! Thanks for the help!
  12. I have a MH series cutter and love it. I use both the sign blazer an scalp programs for different items. Thing is, I have a chance to buy a Rolland PC600 24" for $400.00. I need some feedback on this machine please. I was told its a cutter/plotter. The guy made 2 cuts with it and never attempted to print with it. Can you print and apply vinyl for outside applications?
  13. Well, I figured in all supplies needed for the entire job. Sublimation paper, ink, sign blanks, hinges, screws, and epoxy. I didn't think about per sign, good idea!
  14. I have a question for you sublimation guys and girls.........I'm getting ready to do put in a bid on a pretty big job at the company I actually work for. They need between 250-300 4"x 18" mini street sign aluminum blanks done up with 5-2D scans on each one along with A-E and a bay number for the warehouse racking. They spent $5000-$6000 on stickers that the forklifts keep rubbing and ruining day after day. I priced out supplies and they are close to $3400.00. Ok, so my question lol How much would you all charge per hour. I will be using epoxy to attach the aluminum sign blank to aluminum piano hinges. Then self tapping screws to attach these to the racks. So I'll have time in making and installing all 250-300 of these

    vinyl drifting

I figured it out on my first cutter, but forgot what I did to correct it. But when cutting longer items, the vinyl will ride towards the left if I'm facing the front of the cutter. Any ideas on how to correct this? I line up the vinyl so its even, but it will end up moving over 1/4 to 1/2 a inch over a 48" cut.
