Hello Mike, I do NOT own the company, but I do work here and handle most of the support issues. I suppose we should update that info on the ebay auctions We have never charged anyone for support and generally help people get the plotter setup and installed, and with any hardware issues. We don't have the resources to teach people how to use the product and make signs but do provide this forum to get people pointed in the right direction. In fact my technical knowledge is more about computers and software than sign making so I don't always have the answers to some questions about weeding etc, but fortunately there are good folks in this forum like Billy who will usually help out newbies with those types of things.

Hello, thank you all for your patience during this ebay auction mess. I do really appreciate the positive comments about our support and business
All of the refunds for the ebay problem should have been completed today. Sorry if I missed some of them on Friday but I am new to those types of work tasks. If you did not get your refund for some reason please email me directly with your ebay item ID, name, etc so I can research it and make sure the refund gets processed. Because of this issue and being short one person last week I'm really running behind on support emails, calls, and forum postings. Unfortunately since the forum is public with multiple users it tends to get last priority since it is somewhat self sufficient. If you have an urgent issue please email me directly so we can get the problem resolved quicker. Thanks again for the support and patience from everyone.

Thank you cneil79
These plotters do work with MAC OS 10.3.9 and up. We sell them primarily as a vinyl cutting plotter but people have cut tint, stickers and other materials. As long as the material is not thicker than 1mm it should work in most cases. If you want us to test a specific material you are more than welcome to send us a sample. Our address is at our ebay store website

Our ebay account was hijacked which caused the problems with this auction this week. This price point is obviously way below our cost and not a transaction that we would allow to happen. The auction has been canceled to prevent any further problems.
The payments that were made did go into our account and not some random account, so we will be able to refund those payments. The person who normally handles these ebay auctions and payments is out this week which is why we did not catch this sooner. As you can imagine we are getting tons of email, calls, etc on this issue but we are doing our best to get this problem sorted out today. We apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this has caused to our customers.

Hello, it may be possible something is wrong with the carriage on the plotter if it is not letting the blade move up and down as it should. Make sure the carriage is on the tracks and the spring in the blade holder arm is not sticking. If that does not resolve the issue please email me directly or call us during business hours so we can diagnose the problem.
-
Hello, I may already be working with you on this but if not please email me directly so we can get the issue resolved faster. If you could send me any examples of files you are having problems with too, or digital pictures of bad cutouts that would be helpful.

Can you email me directly or give us a call during business hours to go over some settings.

You can call us at 425-284-2282 between 9-3 Pacific Time M-F

Sorry about the connection problem on the PC, it is a little confusing. If you need help setting it up just email me or call us during business hours. You shouldn't be getting wavy or ragged edges if the vinyl is good quality and the blade depth and speed are set correctly. You might want to try a different font or try another program to see if you get the same results. You can also send me an example picture and/or an example file that you are cutting so I can test it out here.

I talked to slow this morning and in this case it does look like there may be a hardware issue. We are doing a parts replacement under warranty to resolve the problem.

Can you email me a sample of a file you are having trouble with so I can try to open it in Signcut and other programs to test the results. You can also find more specific help with Signcut in this sign-making forum under the Signcut area.
http://www.signforums.com/forums
It's a good forum and free to use, but you must become a member to sign in and read all topics.

We don't have Corel Draw available here so I can't really test this out, but I have talked with quite a few people that have been able to cut directly from Corel. You might try testing this on an older version if you have it. Seems like a few other people who have had trouble with this were also using version 12, and the ones who got it to work were using older versions.
-
Make sure that you are using good quality. Also be sure the blade is just barely sticking out of the blade holder just enough to cut the vinyl but not the backing of the vinyl.
-
It might be best if you can email me a file you are having problems with and I'll try to open it in Artcut, and other programs to see if its a problem with Artcut opening the file or if there is some other setting in Artcut needed to get that file to open.

You need to have a live internet connection to use the PE version, otherwise you can purchase the LE version which does not require the internet connection.

Hello all, once again snow and ice has shut down the Seattle area so we are closed for the day. You can still reach us via email. We hope to be open tomorrow if conditions improve.
-
Hello, have you tried the file>open or import commands? If you use this be sure to change the "files of type" drop down box to the type of file you are trying to import, or change it to "all files". If you are still having problems with this you might want to try opening it in another cutting program like Signcut to see if you have the same issues. You can also email me a copy of a file and I'll see which programs I can open it with here and email you back with the procedure.

To install the blades just remove the red cover on the blade which is covering up the cutting end of the blade. Insert the other end of the blade (which is center pointed but not meant for cutting) into the end of the blade holder. The blade will magnetically attach itself inside of the blade holder. Adjust the blade height so it is just barely sticking out of the holder; just enough to cut the vinyl but not the backing on the vinyl. You can adjust the blade by moving the brass and silver screws at the top of the blade holder to adjust for the correct height on the blade. If you have any further questions you might want to email me directly with your phone number so I can call you to help with setup.
-
Hello, there is not setting on the plotter for vinyl size. You just need to make sure in Signcut that you do not cut a design larger than the vinyl you are using.
-
Hello, have you tried cutting with a different software program, on a different port, or on a different computer to narrow the problem down? You can download a trial version of sign go at www.signgo.com to see if you have the same results with it. Please send me a personal email or call us, I'll send you an email with our contact info.

Hello, this issue seems to have just come up recently with a couple of customers so I'd like to talk to you over the phone so we can narrow down what the problem might be. I've sent you an email at your hotmail address with our contact info. If anyone else is having this problem please send me an email with as much information as you can including which plotter you are using and what software you have tried cutting with.

Thank you hanapi, I'm glad we finally got everything going for you. That shipping debacle was quite an ordeal but it was always a pleasure chatting with you in email and on the phone. Just let us know if there is anything else we can do to help get you going.
Cheers

You should be able to use two different plotters on the same computer just as you would use two different printers. The problem is when you start trying to share the same port, for example a parallel port. I would recommend connecting one plotter with parallel and the other one with serial or USB. In flexi you will need to set up using the Roland PNC 1000 driver. If you have any problems with the setup just email me or call us during business hours.
