Did you notice the $50 shipping? Or is that because I am looking at from Canada?

From what I have seen, there is different tack cutting mats out there. No idea what would work with paper. Unless someone else has done it, you would have to go with a trial and error.

If you try to cut paper on any cutter without a cutting mat you will destroy the cutting strip. So that part is out.
For a scoring blade, I have no idea. ebay maybe?

Also make sure you are not in wire frame mode.

What is your default color set at? Try changing the color to black and see if that helps.

9 minutes ago, Wildgoose said:Has it been laminated? I have heard that sometimes the Graphtec machines have trouble recognizing the marks if there has been a lamination layer added. I can't recall the work-around but it was a concern I had when I was searching for a servo cutter.
Work around is to put non glossy tape (scotch invisible) over the part to scan.

I see that barcode in the mark setup, but I can not find any evidence it has anything to do with contour cutting other than it is there. I wonder it it is for one of the high end cutters and the CE just can't read it.

Thanks for the update.

The more I use GraphtecProStudio the more I like it. Not even close to graphtec studio, but after the learning curve it does everything I could ask for in cutting, print/cut and designing stuff.
The online help files are very well written when you do need the help to find an answer to learning how to do things.
If you can get the option, do it.

I got a ce-5000 running on windows (pc) using graphtec pro studio and never had a problem.
Also run it with corel draw and cutting master 3 with no problems.
Not saying you will never have problems, but it should be a lot less.
Just did a bunch of print/cut and went smooth as could be.

I don't use sign blazer, but you have to set up your cutter in the settings.

Bit of effort helps

Do a quick search for signblazer on this forum.
Go for the latest link.

I'm thinking frame up restoration.
Tear it all apart, clean and reassemble with new needed parts.
Time consuming and could be costly in the long run.

Possible, if the blade is not out far enough and the pressure in compensating for that, it could send the tracking off if there are more cuts on one side than the other.
Just a thought.

Don't know about VM, but look for mask. Put the pattern over the font and "mask" Or font over pattern. Forget if it is over or under.

Some times it is the simple stuff that gets us.
Hard or simple, skeeter always has us covered.

How are you connected to the cutter?
-
Do you have the dongle plugged in?
If I remember right, 8.6 shouldn't work with win 10.
Roland GX-24 ac adapter & cord not included?!?

Everyone has to have a piece of the pie. Import fees, duty fees, taxes.
I had some koosies shipped up here and before the guy even got the boxes out of the truck he asked if I wanted to refuse delivery because of the "extra" charges.
