    Can vinyl be clearcoated?

We've had customers ask about removing the old and putting on new....when the old decals have been clear coated...how do you go about removing those??
  3. If you couldn't tell already we are REALLY new to all this. But I'm currently in Sign Blazer.......and what I need to know is whats the leading edge on the cut in the software, is it the left side or the top side of the window, in the software when I'm looking at the image?? Sorry hope I haven't made this sound more confusing than it probably is. Myron
  4. Thank you both for your input. I might try Estimate free for 30 days just to get a better idea of prices. Thanks again. Jenny

    What did Santa bring?

Got a Wii, torque wrench, A/C gauges so I can work on my truck in the Spring and an Engine compression kit.....more work I can do when not playing around with the plotter!
  6. When we did some checking into which plotter to buy, we ended up going with the Copam. That with the Signblazer software has made it wonderful. We've had our unit for a couple weeks now and our completely satisfied. We too didn't have orders for larger vinyl products, but you just never know down the road what might be... Myron
  7. Now that we are finally putting images to vinyl, now we need application tape..............is there certain ones you prefer over others?? Some that I should stay away from?? Thanks. Myron
  8. We took out the serial and used the USB and downloaded the updates and all has been going well since....thanks!!
  9. Thank you both, I will look into the application tape you prefer John and Terry thanks for the advice!! Jenny

  15. Trying to get my Copam 2500 to start working..........did a test (small circle) and that went great!! When using Signblazer it does not seem to be communicating with the plotter..........can I please get some help regarding setting up and checking communication when using the Serial cable? Thanks Jenny :help:
  16. Starting to hook it up to see what we can do with it. I have a couple questions on set up (sorry some may seem stupid) One, We are putting on a computer that doesn't have internet...is that ok? Second, BAUD rate? What is it? Third, it asks what port are you using.............and we only have one serial port.... Thanks. Myron & Jenny

    T-Shirt Wholesaler

I have used www.onestopinc.com for all most of my shirt needs. Shipping can be a little steep if you only place a small order. But they have always been accurate and very fast shipping.
  19. I guess not that many have the Copam cutter. :notsure:
  20. From what I've seen on this forum, many of you come up with some amazing designs. I saw this today and just had to share. http://www.wackywarnings.com/

    Time to move

Yes I'm in Michigan too and even further upnorth than you are moving. I'm about 45 minutes North of Saginaw! We don't have high speed internet, but we do have satellite internet. Hoping you have a safe move.
  22. My question is, I've been watching them on Ebay and is there anything else I need to purchase to have it up and working other than the vinyl?? In the future are you going to include some test vinyl?? Since I'm a newbie to the vinyl cutters, any advice of other things to purchase, extra blades, etc sure would be appreciated...thanks. Jenny :xmas tree:

    Greetings from Michigan

My name is Jenny and my husband and I have been doing dye sublimation and pad printing for just over a year. We are excited to start our new venture with vinyl. We have gotten shirts for my husbands company with screen printing and don't think it holds up over time like vinyl. We are planning on purchasing the CP-2500 and I'm sure I'll have a few questions or more after it arrives. I have been doing some research on vinyl printers and have heard many great things about the CP-2500 from a t-shirt forum I'm a member of. From what I seen on this forum, there are a great bunch of people here. :you rock: Jenny
  24. Glad to hear all went well. I agree I love that air freshner decal! Jenny

    Time to move

Best of luck on your move. Are you staying in MI? I already live in the boonies and it can take some getting use to. Moving out of state in the next year or so....for a change of scenery. Jenny
