I had the same issues until I switched to serial connection. My USB kept dropping connection and locking up the machine. If you can use the serial connection.

I think you will find this forum more than makes up where the manual is lacking.

You have to convert your image to monochrome first then select your image before clicking the vectorize button.

What is Plastisol? is it precut numbers and letters? Where do you get yours?

I have been eying the USCutter heat presses. I think I'm going to pull the trigger as soon as they get some in. There are so many kids soccer and little league teams in this area I know I could pay for it in a month just putting names on the back of uniforms.

Another thing you can do is set up your workspace to be the size of your finished project. Go to File + Workspace Setup. Change the dimensions to be 34" x 66". This will make the pink box that represents your work area the size of your banner. Now you can scale or move things and see how they will look on the in relation to the size of the finished project.

Do you lay the blue right on top of the red or was the red cut out under?

Elements does not have them. You can use just a circle or square. Create the shape above or beside your design and then duplicate it on the other colors. When you apply your layers it gives you something to line up with.

Where I work we use Teflon tape in the cure ovens for composites. It comes on a roll much like shipping tape but they may have some with backing. On Monday I will find out what the max temp. is, who makes it and how it is sold. Here is one I found from Uline. It could be a couple of things. It is possible that it is in the design if it is something that you vectorized. It could also be the setting for the blade offset. Which software are you using?

You set the vinyl on top of the two rollers. Some people put one of the rollers through the center of the vinyl but it is meant to set on top of the two. The ball point pen is used for drawing. You can test your design on paper before actually cutting it on vinyl.

Are you using the USB? I had that problem with USB. I switched to serial and it has not done it since. I don't think it is a Signblazer issue.

My only suggestion with the PCUT is to use the Serial Connection. I tried the USB and had problems. Once I went to the serial they went away. The USB port on the PCut is not very well made.

You have come to the right place. Any of the cutters that USCutter sells sound like they will fit your needs. I have the 24" PCut with SignBlazer. I love the software. It was easy to learn. This forum is another great thing. People here are friendly and willing to answer your questions. Good machines, Good software and Good help.

You can put a box around a group of nodes to select more than one. Then hit the delete button.
