Ive been looking for a large collection of the Stick Figure Family ones. And I am really only finding one collection on ebay that is like $20 and says it has over 400. But there isn't a really good way to see what ones it has. I want to get some that have standard family, Military, Zombie...You know the good ones =) Any ideas where I can purchase these? I'm tired of using the "Its our tape" from the local provider....Im tired of when applying that the decal doesn't stay on the tape and constantly having to put it back down and rubbing it over and over with a squeegee just to get it to stick. I use 651 Vinyl 95% of the time. In your opinion whats the best tape? Thanks Carlcas

So we are newer to the Screen Printing business...We purchased a 4 Color single Station Press, with a Conveyor to do the curing. What I am trying to do is this... Is there a way to break down exactly what it costs to do a shirt? I mean someone has had to do this before right =) The reason I am doing this is because we are setting up a deal with the pressman, That we will pay for all the materials and stuff...and we will pay him 50% of the profit. So we need to know what it costs to make the shirts so we can figure the actual profits out...so we can share them with him. Any ideas? Anyone broke this down before? Im too new to know how many avg shirts you can print with a quart of ink, how many screens you usually get out of a container of emulsion...that stuff =) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I appologize if this has been asked before...But I didnt see it. I have FlexiStarter..and a US Cutter Vinyl Cutter... I would like to know if there is an easy way to make 2 layer race car numbers right in Flexi.... Right now I make 2 different files in adobe illustrator and then try to size and lay them in Flexi and cut...Seems like kind of a pain in the butt. I am hoping there is a way I could choose a font in Flexi...Type the number...Make it outline the number in black..and then help me cut them so I can use crop marks. Thanks in advance for the help, Its much appreciated. Carlcas

Yes it will work. And you can do some limted design in Flexi Starter... There are tons of tutorial videos online..Just do some searches. Flexi is more powerful then most think or give it credit for. Carlcas

I have the starter version of Flexi..and have ran into an annoying problem. (Likely me not the program.) I dont know what the correct name to call the icon or arrow so I will explain. There are two select arrows you choose from the tools on the upper left...One is to select lots of stuff, the other is to select individual things. When I select the one for individual...It lets me pick one thing...then it auto switches back to the first one. Sometimes I want to select one thing then another then another, but it makes me have to go back and choose the tool each time... Is this just me? =) Thanks in advance for any help or input. Just a quick question about the US Cutter MH 871 Cutter. For those of you who own this machine....How do you cut the sheets off the Cutter, after the art is cut? I use a razor blade and run it through one of the slits on the machine itself, But man that sure is scratching and doing its job on the machine =( Has to be an easier way....No? Just curious how others were doing it. Thanks Carl

Sorry it has been awhile since I revisited this post....Have been busy as all get out, and ill at the same time. But I did want to revisit and say THANKS! To everyone especially Skeeter for the help in getting me up and running. I have the system up and running, and have been doing alot of cool stuff with my "Cutter" (Not Printer even though I wanted to say it Skeeter ) I bought the software as suggested and things have been smooth sailing. I am still learning all the time..Trying to learn speeds and pressure right now and why it sometimes pulls pieces off as it cuts. But in the end...Im having a blast! THANKS AGAIN Guys! Carlcas

Reading it now... This program seems a bit buggy for me...I can get one thing to cut. (Looks great) But then I try to send another job..or the same job back over..and the program locks hard enough I have to actually reboot the computer. =( Carlcas

Ok so I got it to communicate....(Com 4) But SignBlazer doesnt have a profile for this cutter like it does for so many others. So I told it to use one that was close (Width specs) to see if it would send the file over... It did...But the cutter went nuts =) So now if I can only find the correct info to create my own profile. Appreciate the link to the Newbie file...Its is educating. I am trying the trial version of SignBlazer right now. I am working on the Com Port thing now.... SignBlazer seems a bit unstable at the momment..Keeps locking pretty hard on me. I will post where I get with the ComPort in a few. Thanks again for the help. Carlcas

My Apology...I come from a very long history of printing, and printers. I keep unintentionally calling it a printer =) I understand its a cutter. I also understand how it communicates. Im just having no luck at actually getting it to do it. Carlcas

Hoping I can get some help =) I just purchased 2 MH-871 Printers...and have lots of questions so please dont shoot me =) 1.) I am running Windows 7 64 Bit..and Mine too finds the unit as RT232R USB UART....I cant get any further...It doesnt let me install the cutter as a printer or anything like that. 2.) The Software was already registered by the person I bought the cutters from, What are my options for software? 3.) The unit seems to keep putting roller marks from it being to tight of a grip on the paper, I have adjusted the rollers down..but seems to stay there...Any Ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. I am sure I will have more =) But for now..I would love to just be able to cut a sticker or something =) I have Corel and Illustrator...Just dont know how to make them talk to unit. Carl
