I asked what open box meant, they said they opened the box to show a customer. It was not removed or used in any way. I bought on Wednesday and received yesterday 2 days! (California to Utah) Set it up last night and got it going in a couple hours, it didnt look like it was ever opened. Even the stand is impressive

Good to know, I will keep that in mind. Do you use the USB that came with the cutter or have you purchased a serial cable? I have read that the serial is better.

Well it was delivered today Got it up and running pretty quick, I have Windows Vista so the driver set up was a little different than the instructions, the setup CD wouldn't install. I ended up downloading it off the Graphtec website. The test went well and I have cut a few small things it is quick and quiet I am going to watch the control panel video, there is a bunch to learn Those of you that have this, what was your biggest challenge or what is your favorite option? Here is my 2 cents. There are so many different versions in Spanish. I am married to a Spanish man who grew up in the US, his family is from Spain. We have many Spanish speaking people living in our area/State that are from Mexico, they speak to my husband in Spanish assuming he will understand and he says it is very different from what he learned growing up. It is the only cutting program I have used. I thought it was easy to learn along with the help from the folks on this forum. I actually worked directly with Jerry on an issues that I had before he passed :'( he was passionate about this program and made sure you knew how to use it. I am not planning on using anything else anytime soon.

What should I charge They want silver, I am thinking of using the "Oracal 851-090 Silver Gry" Anything better? It is quite large. This is for a large wall above mirrors in a karate shop. Total amount of vinyl will be 28 feet long X 1 foot tall. What should I charge installed or just the vinyl and let them install? Thanks for any input! Mary Ann
