Nice! What kind of vinyl did you use?
-
Medium blue and medium red are similar tonal value so the readability is hindered. Also, a lot of red/blue combinations will vibrate, which makes it even harder on the eyes. You should always resort to either a different color combination altogether, or use a white outline as was suggested.
-
You made the Ligonier dimensional sign?
-
Arial lacks character and was designed for the web. It doesn't really do much for the look of his business.
-
It's still not centered.

Pricing help hugeee order
jsmoritz2000 replied to rickjax's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
You should absolutely screen print any order over 10 or 12 shirts. Find a local wholesale printer, if possible. That or invest in learning how to screen print and buy your own equipment. You can pay off a press, exposure unit and dryer with the first few dozen orders that come through the door. Screen printing is a very competitive business to be in, but it's a low overhead business with huge potential for profit. -

Banner Pricing...
jsmoritz2000 replied to SomeKindaSign's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
We bill printed banners at $7.50 per sq. ft. to as low as $4.50 per sq. ft. depending on total square footage. We include the art fee in this pricing model and it works out well for us. Also banners done with the same artwork or slightly modified from the same template we price as total sq.ft, not individually. -

I like everything but the front door lettering. The curvature really looks off to me. I think it would look better if the lettering ran straight. Everything else looks top notch though. Cool logo.

The seat says "Vitesse". You wouldn't be from the Bloomington-Normal area, would you? Btw, nice work. Cool bike!

Help, please. Copam cutter is chattering.
jsmoritz2000 replied to jsmoritz2000's topic in Copam Cutting Plotter Support Requests
So, I received my parts I ordered today and figured out that the blade holder was bad. As soon as I put the new blade holder in I was back to cutting perfectly clean, weedable vinyl at 20 grams of pressure. Awesome! Also, no more horrible grinding sound. All considered, I'm happy with the Copam still after 5 or 6 months of having it. It's been a great machine for the money. Anybody have any tips on maintaining the life and longevity of a blade holder? Do they require lubrication? If so, what type is best and how is it applied? Or do blade holders just tend to give out in due time?
