MH871-mk2 bought from us cutter. using fellers vinyl (oracal vinyl) sign blazer SBD files this is my second machine of this same unit. The first I gave to my brother and I bought a new one, same model. On every decal I cut out, there is always somewhere that it doesnt connect the line on the image. Both machines have done this, right when I got them out of the box. Ive read many forum posts about this and still cant find an answer. I bought a new black housing that is connected to the belt. replaced it and it still does the same. I tighthen the screws on the rollers. Ive taken off the left side panel and made sure the belt in there was tight. Ive called tech support they said all it was, was that I needed to play with the offset until I find where it takes it away. Well Ive done that and still nothing. It still leaves somewhere on the image a line not connected. For instance on a circle it doesnt cut a perfect circle, it goes off a bit to one of the sides, so now i have to use a exacto knife to cut off the excess or undercut it. any help from anyone?

Hello and welcome to the forums! We are all here to help each other with all sorts of questions and comments, but in order to get started you will need to become a full fledged member. You begin as rank of Newbie but you can graduate much easier than with most schools! You simply need to pass the test of respect for the forum Due to the constant spammers in the world we have created a new rule that still allows new members to create new posts, but those posts will need to be approved by a moderator before they are saved as a public post for others to view and reply to. This includes any kind of post, whether you create a new topic or your first post is just a reply to someone else's post. This will help weed out a lot of the spammers and scammers that like to post unhelpful things like ads and general spam, and this should make for a cleaner spam free forum. There is more good news though! We have lots of people who help moderate these forums, including our very own USCutter tech support as well as other forum users such as yourself! anyone... please HELP- I'm beyond frustrated! I'm unable to get my cutter to cut a cursive font. On the attached picture, things was the last word- it cut fine until the s. On other phrases, it won't even make it to the end. There is no consistency that I can figure out. It will get going, then randomly stop and cut a diagonal line through rest of the vinyl- wasting a ton. I can't pause my machine, or get it to stop without turning it off. I've read everything about using a USB cord (unfortunately I can't change to a serial but I have re-installed drivers, changed cords), static (pretty sure it's not this) and sunlight (it's not in the light). It cuts any and all block fonts just fine but will not cut any cursive font. I've even tried welding some, then not- makes no difference. I've tried more than 10 different cursive fonts (free and purchased), none will work. I've even tried cutting lettering without welding it to see if something was wrong there- didn't make a difference, still cut off and wigged out before finishing the letters. COPAM 2500 Signcut Productivity Pro (updated) Inkscape (updated to latest version) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Danke, Sheila

Im looking at purchasing a vinyl cutter in the next few days and have pretty much narrowed it down to the Copam CP series in 35" flavor. My question is, will this be a workhorse that I can use as the foundation for signs, banners, stickers, and shirts to start out with, or should I be looking at something different. Already have a Hix HT press that I kept when I owned an airbrush t shirt biz many years ago. Im wanting to invest in something solid to begin with and as the business grows, move it to a back up position. Thanks in advance. Bruce
