Suzanne 0 Posted September 25, 2020 Hi there, I have a small business where I sell baby onesies with literary quotes. Therefore, I use a typewriter font. My biggest BIGGEST issue is when I am weeding, I often can't get the DOTS to the lower case I out of the vinyl, and then my iron-on decal is ruined. Does anyone have any tricks for those little bitty dots?? thanks!
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 25, 2020 You don't mention which software or cutter. I use weed lines feature on small text from my cutting software. I also use sewing needles with a pin cushion, for weeding my designs.
haumana 1,220 Posted September 26, 2020 do tell: cutter? software? font? font size? make sure you set the blade depth properly. make sure you slow the blade speed down. a 60* also helps for tiny text and intricate designs.
jmas 119 Posted September 26, 2020 Make extra dots and use them to replace any you mess up in the design.
