Sixes River 0 Posted March 6, 2017 I own a 2005 Keystone Montana 33' fifth wheel that has decals on it that are peeling and cracked terribly! I recently bought a US Cutter SC 34" plotter and love it!!! I was eyeballing the graphics on our fifth wheel and saying to myself that I could easily replace them with my own personal colors! But my question is how do I copy them? If I strip them off the area beneath them will be shiny compared to the rest of the RV. I thought the best thing to do would be to make them slightly larger to cover the outline of the old ones but don't know how to begin with copying them?? Any help would be appreciated!!! darcshadow 1,626 Posted March 6, 2017 Two options really, take a photo of the artwork from as straight on an angle as possible and include a size reference in the shot. Then pull the image into your vector software of choice and trace the image. Option two, get some knife tape and use it to cut the vinyl on the RV.
slice&dice 2,450 Posted March 6, 2017 Agree with the Knife Tape !!!!!! Sending vinyl through the SC cutter for 30' graphics swoosh design is not something I would try.
