Problem Contour Cutting in SCAL3

So when I get ready to cut and Asks for the Registration Marks , My laser on the Cutter does not come on. Am I missing a setting or this should be automatic? Just Purchased a Refurbed 25" LaserPoint 2 Cutter last week.

 

Not sure if the same problem. But when I hit Enter on my Cutter on the "on" Icon, the Laser does turn on while the Cutter goes flying to the left and get jams (Keeps trying to go left and doesnt stop making noise).

I am having the same issue with my new SC plotter. Hopefully someone has the answer as this is very frustrating the laser won't turn on to set the reg marks. I have searched around but can not find an answer.

The laser will not automatically come on on the Sc, not sure about the LP2.
