My ce6000-60 just shipped today. After I get it setup, what should my first cut be? Any suggestions?

If its like the 5000 there should be a test button, I would try that first.  Read up on blade depth and pressure on the forum, most folks start out with way too much of both...

LOL Carolyn you beat me to it I was too long winded

Granted I'll do a test cut, but what else would someone recommend? Just looking to do something fun, not the 11 projects I have waiting

There is a trend of cutter owners placing a small decal right onto the face of the cutter carriage box.

Doing so would serve two purposes ---  Giving you something to think about and create (because you'll have to look at it constantly until you peel it off or change it) and providing an indication of how well it cuts a small, detailed item.
