D4kustomz 3 Posted February 2, 2014 OK so I am still learning Flexi8 and I am figuring things out but I am attempting to turn this image (inserted below) in to a clear vectorized image. I want it to be one single black image. If someone could please help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, after you do it, can you please walk me through the steps that I would need to take in the future? Thank you in advance for helping me out.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted February 2, 2014 You also might consider the Flexi training dvds from Mark Rugen. There is so much to learn on Flexi, these are priceless. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Flexi-8-and-10-Training-DVDs-/261387244393?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item3cdbe4d369

maddog 12 Posted February 2, 2014 I wish I could help you out, Good Luck on making a Vector image from that, The glow around the letters will make the letters fat and ugly and you'll likely lose some of the image when you use just one color.

skarekrow 1,842 Posted February 2, 2014 Au contraire mon frere.. 8 minutes from my download brings back this version. Now, I admit, it's a quick, dirty, effort but just showing it's entirely possible. The text (along with the image) was quickly cleaned in Photoshop by simply desaturating the color, adjusting the levels, and using the burn and dodge tools to tighten the contrast to just 2 colors. And though the text was traced in Inkscape (and left not too legible in a couple of areas) I would strongly suggest replacing it.
