Different uses for the vinyl cutters

Recommended Posts

Today I was sitting at work without much to do and I started thinking about all the things we can do with our plotters.

We have a world of possibilities and I realized I am doing too little. I mostly do decals and shirts.

I will start the list and you can keep adding things. Please contribute.

The cutter can be used to do/decorate:

Decals

Shirts

Hats

Signs

Banners

.015" Vellumoid  vegetable fiber gasket material - aka regular gasket material purchased from http://www.mcmaster.com I used the backing from vinyl with spray adhesive to hold the gasket material, i used autosketch to draw,  then cut with 190 pressure on my laserpoint

I am also using it as a plotter - drew a new map for our storage facility!

My wife has me cutting stencils for her quilting.

I have also ordered a roll of tracing paper to make her some patterns for sewing.

So many uses besides making decals and banners.

LOL.......up until I got mine, that's all I ever thought a plotter was used for was to plot out blueprints and patterns and such.
