  1. Hello, i am just wondering if graphtec blade lifespan would be shorter if used for perf/die cut of thicker ( 6 to 8 mil with laminatiin) laminated vinyl stickers. And does a 60° blade make diecut easier and better asking since i dont have any 60° blade to test out
  2. What blade do you recommend for the CE6000-60?
  3. Hi Everyone! I have not been active on this board for quite a long time due to my husband and I moving, getting my space set up and back into the swing of things. A lot of what I do is glass etching and sometimes is really small text or graphic. I did some research on here and saw a lot of people talking about http://www.cleancutblade.com/ so I figured I would try them out. I called and talked to Ross who was awesome and gave me all kinds of tips and told me to call him with any questions as I would now be changing my overcut, offset and pressure settings. I was so impressed with the customer service he provided. I ordered 2 Roland ZECU 60* blades. I got them really fast (I have had them a few weeks but have just now been able to try them out). I am sold! I cannot believe that not one piece of vinyl lifted. I cut all text at .518 tall using monotype corsiva, Oracal 641 and a PCUT 630. Even the dot on the eye stayed in place. I haven't ever had that happen! Thanks to everyone who was recommending them.

    Cutter Blades

I need to buy replacement blades for the first time. How do I know what blades to buy? Also - who has the best price? Thanks
  5. So I've been using the SC 24" and it's pretty awesome, a major reliability upgrade from my dysfunctional MH 721, but I cut a few different materials and it would probably be nice to have different blades and holders for the various things I cut so as to avoid adjusting the blade height repeatedly. Are there options or can I only get the parts offered on the UScutter website? I like to shop around for my materials and it would be nice to know if I could use other brands (Roland, Cricut, etc.) and if there are other blade holders that would do the trick. Unrelated: Is there any way to not get roller marks on the vinyl? I always end up with faint tracks from the texture of the rollers where my roller clamps go. I'm not doing decals yet, so it hasn't been a problem thus far, but it would be nice to make it go away.
