Photography that’s awesome I use to take good photos but not good enough for anything like newspapers or anything like that.

I heard reflective will hold the heat. but not sure on that. I know a guy on youtube that uses it for brake calipers.

I use siser HTV and oracal vinyl--------
I run 2 and 3 pinch rollers depending on the width for small stuff. But from what i can tell is the blade holder ( purple) is rubbing on the material causing this. I have tested something on my own cutter and it work worked perfect everytime. Take your blade holder out and use a thin washer or o-ring ( which i actually only had a o-ring for your car A/c pipe parts( light green color) . It raises up the blade holder a few mm to give space and i was still able to tighten the blade holder as normal.... Like i said worked perfect on my tests. If you can find a plastic washer that should work aslo.
1. Also what pressure are you at on that cutter.
2. What cutter is that ?

Glad to see your back bud. Ive stepped up and got a hotronix fusion 16x20 press doing good on that. Still learning new areas in that and figuring out new material, And i got back into my Photography business as well. Really glad to be doing it again.. Cant wait to see some of your new work.

Dont buy a copam then i guess lol.. From what we found out on @cardudenc computer that when he updated his windows 10 it did mess up for a sec and then found out that the ports had gotten changed during the update So all we does was relocate them and problem solved. And hes running just fine with Vm and scalps ,But his primary is scalps now.

@cardudenc i believe he runs windows 10 with his cutter and i think he runs Scalps4pro and Ai as well. Check with him..

According to craftedge tech support you can send a system file of the cutter and with the cutting software they can tell you what to use. And i just checked the support list and vinyl express cutters is in the list now.http://www.craftedge.com/products/products_scalpro.html

Racinboy should download Inkscape and see what he thinks. Won't cost him a dime, and he'll be able to ascertain how much 'learning' he's willing to do within more advanced vector graphics software than SignBlazer.
@racinboy30 Im willing to spend time and show what i know and do with it , I have helped many since i learned from here. Of course it depends on what your trying or needing to do in it . But for what i do with non printed decals its a piece of cake to learn.. Send me a pm and we can set something up.

Ai rocks along with my cutter software in my own opinion.

I loaded a previous file and the work that I've done does not show. The work is there though. I made sure the fill color is on black, even the stroke color is on. I can drag on the work but I still can't see it. Does this make any sense?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Anyway of you wanting to do live view with me to take a look? I run scalps4pro and havent had that problem.Send me a Pm if you want or need more info on this . I help many people this way doing live view. Ask @cardudenc. Im his main tech-design helper now .And i always do live mode with him.

Copied from Mz Skeeters comment----
This is how to set your blade depth correctly
To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see or feel the blade tip out of the blade holder.

Just now, mfatty500 said:We press at lower pressure to insure no marks on the jackets, you can try a little more if you'd like but not much more for us
i can understand that with the marks , but i would be worried about not having enough for it to hold? but if you say a 3 which is no where near a firm pressure then i guess i will give it a go at 3 ? its a new press also .

11 minutes ago, mfatty500 said:we use a hotronix also we use around 3 so that we don't leave any marks on the jacket, hope this helps
a 3? Isnt that way way less than what it says to use? Now im really lost lol. i got the pressure info from a video from stahls on what each category for pressure meant . Lately on my siser stretch i have been using a 6 which i understand it to be a firm med pressure per catalog info. Oh boy...

i cut my carbon fiber at the same as my 651 no issues with a 45*.

what about the titan 2 ? is it still for sale on there? awesome cutter.

Thank you bud. I use the hotronix fusion 16x20 press. And for my heatpress this is how they break up pressure for me in numbers. 1-3 is light pressure. 4-6 is medium pressure . 7-9 is firm pressure.
And it says firm for the glitter which would be a pressure of 7 for me. and the siser stretch is med to firm which would be a 6-7 option?.
I went and re looked at the pressure settings from siser and im confused i think or just mis-reading it. But when it says MED-FIRM , does that mean for me If 7 is the starting point for my firm pressure and 9 is my heavy firm pressure, would 8 be my med firm ? or would it mean its medium to firm pressure like 6-7? I havent had any issues with previous designs but now im questioning myself ? Thank you very much Bud.

Ordered a bundle to be downloaded.
Made an offer and he accepted. Payed with PayPal and got the download link in a couple of hours.
All cool, the link was to something I did not want, did not order and never will. Nothing to do with what I ordered!
All emails have been ignored and calls are not answered, or messages returned.
Waiting for a complaint through PayPal and hope to get my money back.
I know some have been happy with some of the stuff, and happy for you. But for me, NEVER AGAIN.
Strange to have that issue. I have bought many many things from there and havent had an issue yet.

Ya sure cuts alot still needs to fix this issue, thats the only down fall i hated as far as i can remember lol. now I use ai to design in mainly with the arch feature etc 99% and then use scalps for shadow and cutting., Perfect match and easy. I have played with Vm but still cant myself to like it yet.
