I just picked up these larger sized "sticky - reusable" thinner cutting mats and they go thru my Roland GX-24 with no problem. I plan to use them for non-adhesive backed materials such as lighting gels and thin, stabilized cloth patches. More later if it works, (or not).

I found that a very light spray of application fluid helped remove the pieces of paper that got stuck to the "sticky" without destroying the "stick" ( USE WITH CAUTION, as I only did this once!)

It is an accessory for the Brother Cutting Machine (on line search will have a "where to buy section" for your location) the 12"X12" is $19.95 and the 12"X24" is $24.95 . The Printed Rulers on the mat can be cut off (unless U are using Brother Machine) The Rep. Says that the mats can be repaired or spliced together with good quality thin packaging tape. I got mine over the counter at a local NW store called " Quality Sewing and Vac. Shop"

'Just ordered 2 "sticky" cutting mats from local sewing and vac. shop- they are for the ''Brother Hobby and Craft Cutter" and are used to stick fabric, paper, and vinyl to the re-usable cutting surface. They are stiff!! They may be ordered from "Brother Cutting Machine.com and come in various sizes. I plan to tape 2 together for a 24"X24" size. Will post again if this works out OK or not

Beginners luck, I guess- I just measured out an X on the flange, centered the pilot bit of the hole saw on the crosshairs, and drilled slowly. 'have seen some small wrinkles in the applied tape though. -
'Best way to see it in action is to cut a "star" shape with sharp points and watch it spin as it changes direction..

Beautiful Work!!! -
The Client changed their mind, placed the vinyl on the inside, and spray painted a rectangle over the design. ' Not much I could say, as it was gratis work for a non-profit for community service organization.
