Thanks for the kind words. It was just a cheapy to get us started. I actually didn't plan on using it as long as we did. I honestly didn't realize we'd had it since Aug '14. I'd say we got our $200 out of it! Lol

HTV & the Titan 2
GraphxNMore replied to GraphxNMore's topic in TITAN 2 Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
Thanks everyone. X, good to know I'm not the only one. Lol. I'll try to post a video this evening some time. We had a near disaster, as you'll read in another thread in about to post. -
Can you run it vertical through your cutter?

"Baseball" only. Neither ID software can find it. Gets close on a few letters, but nothing exact.

The SC is fine, but NOISY!!!! If I was gonna spend the money on the T2, I'd spend a few extra coins and get the T3 (tefurbs aren't much more than a new T2).

test cut on new titan not proper
GraphxNMore replied to action's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
The software upgrade will not affect the test cut the machine performs. Does the carriage and vinyl move as it should, and you're not just getting the cut? Does the blade holder drop and come back up? -
Tiny air bubbles on layered vinyl
GraphxNMore replied to AmericanWarriorDecals's topic in General Help
What I do is wipe the layers with a dryer sheet then drag a lint free cloth over them. It gets the vast majority of any dust off. -
We just stick them together. Won't hurt anything.
-
Try Bilitis.

Tiny air bubbles on layered vinyl
GraphxNMore replied to AmericanWarriorDecals's topic in General Help
Might be specks of dust. If that's the case, you'll never get it out. But PD is right, a needle prick and you can get the air out. -
This is by far the best one yet.

Where does everyone get theirs? I just had army first request for one (using existing frame, al I need is the plexi) and was wondering if anyone has found materials at local vendors such as Lowe's, etc.

There's a local guy that has done several in our area. I'll snap a couple tomorrow. One is a mural in honor of a local war hero.

Your leasing questions answered
GraphxNMore replied to momofdogs's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I leased a $185,000 piece of equipment for my "day job". 3 years, $16,000 per. I give it back after three years and it's theirs. 100% tax deductible payments. -
Try less pressure, lower temp ( 5 degree increments) and shorter press times. Personally, I've found it doesn't take medium pressure on metal. Use as little as possible and still get even transfers. Some metals I recently bought takes 375* for 55 seconds. The chart I received says 400* for 75 seconds.

Wife says "a very long time". LOL Seriously, if you could sub that out to a screen printer you'll be better off..... AND HAPPIER!!

Arrrrgh. I wonder if she'll surrender the booty.

Or you could try 3D extrude. It may not give the desired result though.

Why would you charge to do this job?
GraphxNMore replied to SurberSigns's topic in General discussion
I charge because I don't work for free...... (title says "WHY would........)
