dry erase sheet stock

    I have a customer needing a 28"X22" dry erase sheet with their logo subbed at top. I've subbed dry erase material before, but can't find any this big. Anyone know of any?

    dry erase sheet stock

    Sublimation takes 375* to 400*. Wouldn't that melt vinyl? However, I could put it on coroplast and do a vinyl decal instead of sublimating it.

    Please help- spliting and joining paths

    Can you not just delete all those nodes, redraw the trigger area, then B-F?

    Needs to be sublimatable.

    First Dye Sub Shirt...one issue

    I never use a teflon sheet when sublimating. I use a fresh sheet of parchment paper with every press.
  7. Nice work!! Nice truck as well!! Here's my new ride. Debating on whether or not to clutter it up with decals. Lol

  10. Could the new strip be slightly unlevel?
  11. Evidently this thing wasn't designed to cut HTV without a mat. The space between the rollers & blade is too far. It allows the flimsy vinyl & liner to bunch up. It's really annoying. Has anyone rise ran into this? Would the T3 with vacuum hold down be a better route? It seems the vacuum being on the front side of the cutting strip would be useless for this issue. I'm open to any suggestions.

    HTV & the Titan 2

    Is 18 slow enough? Wait, no it's not. If I put it any slower, it'll be in reverse.

    Don't buy this Blade holder

    Here are my two holders. Both from US Cutter. Notice the difference in how the tips are made. No can tell one is longer, but it's not 2mm longer. Also, which is OEM?? Lol

    Disaster.... Averted

    So, our heat press started showing fluctuating temps. I didn't think a whole lot about it. I just figured the temp probe or wiring thereof was damaged. Wouldn't be a big deal if the temp was holding steady; and I can check it with my temp gun at every startup. Then we noticed the vinyl on a couple shirts had a melted look. Took temp with gun; sure enough, temp had soared. I told the wife we'll finish these couple shirts as long as we keep a close eye on temps before we press them. Might have to turn it off and let it cool, etc. So we get everything done that we can and its midnight, so we shit everything down. EVERYTHING!!!! 5:40 AM we woke to a screaming smoke alarm. A quick run through and we noticed it coming from the press. Wife quickly unplugged it. My first thought is we left it on all night. Negative. Switch was off. It somehow shorted inside and had the rubber pad so hot it was smoldering. Moral of the story, if your press acts weird in any way, either stop and check it out if you feel comfortable doing so or have someone that knows look it over. We could've lost EVERYTHING.
  18. I thought yall meant this.
  19. After numerous calls into U.S. Cutter, we're still having issues. We tinkered with pressure, speed and blade depth. Seems to work until a day or so later. This has cost me several yards of 651, and an ungodly amount of HTV. It's just out of the blue. I thoughts the cutting strip, but if that was the problem it would be the whole length of the vinyl in that spot. It does it with sign blazer as well, so not a SCALP4 issue. My SC doesn't do it at all. Machine is grounded. Using USB.

    Ok..... What's my problem??

    <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Jburns" data-cid="418053" data-time="1462310226">
I think the blade is being dragged around the corner on the B. The plunger portion of the carriage is down from the indentation on the vinyl. maybe the down force is changing intermittently....\

The blade starts OK on the B,... then as it curves it seems to stop rotating in the holder... my 2 cents.
I'm assuming file is fine, and blade depth correct.

Definitely not the file. We cut the same file 10 times for shirts and three times for door decals. Some were perfect, others were miscut in various places. They're replacing the machine.

    Ok..... What's my problem??

    Blade holder is tight. On hold WITH USC AGAIN.

    Don't buy this Blade holder

    I bought an additional blade holder from USC when I bought my Titan 2 last November. When I got them, I noticed one was darker color. Slightly, but noticeable. One came with the machine, the additional was purchased in the same order from USC. We've been having issues with conquering cuts or cutting too deep. Coukd I have gotten a junk one? I am checking the holder nut to make sure it's tight, that all that's left for me to check.

    Ok..... What's my problem??

    I'm on the road. I'll check when I get back home. Thanks.

    Ok..... What's my problem??

    It's a brand new machine. But yes, I've made double sure the blade is free. And it jumps around. It might do it on the right side this time, center of cutter the next..... Or any point in between. It's erratic where it does it; and it doesn't do it all the time.

    What is the easiest weeding reflective vinyl for decals?

    <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Jay2703" data-cid="417843" data-time="1461935036">
3M has one that isn't bad. You can actually stretch it like regular vinyl.

The 3M I have is worse than cutting and weeding duct tape.
