gc, with the 24" SCALP comes with it also and i didn't pay much more than that for mine. I bought the cutter and stand in one. Love it.

ok, I have asked on 2 boards today with no response so here goes. I have a friend who has a screen printing business but wants the monograms done for t shirts in HTV, Design is 11 x 8. He will do the pressing and all but just wants me to cut the HTV. How do I decide on a price for just that? Doing the whole shirt would be easier for me since they are selling for $20 and up nowadays.

i would do the silhouette before the MH from what i have READ. NO experience with either. I have the SC 24". But you won't be using SCAL with the SIL either. Go the SC series with SCALP. 24". I use 24" vinyl rolls and get a max cut of 23". AND, no, i did not buy the keyspan.

yep, make sure he pays for your design.

Dawn, are you creating your own stick families. To cute. My eyes can barely make it out but is that a pig on the second row -last figure? A farm family would be cute.

i have a friend who wants a large wall decal of a LEFT -handed baseball batter. Anyone got one or can point in the direction.? the one she sent me looks like: but i couldn't get a trace that came out good. My trace smoothed all the edges. I need SVG if possible. Thanks

skarekrow, i searched the net over and thought i (did the song come to mind) ( heehaw ) would find one but didn't. Where did he pop up at?
-
thanks everyone. i didn't know anyone was still awake. BCOJ, i tried the righthander and flipping but his feet were backwards on mine. Skarekrow, now i wonder why mine didn't look like that. Thank you. Now to learn the tiling thing so it will be big enough for the wall.
-
these look great. I NEED to master this technique. Guess I need to try to figure out skarekrow's directions. Have a request for a giant baseball player and really don't want to have to tile.

great find

OW, you are source of information. Thanks for the lesson. I learn something new everyday.

by USCutter- i like that. I didn't pay much less than that for mine and it is NOT auto open. And i didn't get shirts so i would say good deal.

also glitter is gonna be a little harder to cut so increase your pressure. I would suggest a trial cut. I wasted 2 12 x 12 sheets of that expensive stuff ( glitter ) because my cut didn't go through. And i even increased pressure after the first one. . Obviously not enough so 'TEST CUT' I second mfatty500's advice on layering. But you can put glitter on top of regular just nothing on top of glitter. Make sure you let us see what u do. We like pictures.

hope you all had a Happy Easter. I sure did. My first yr to watch my grandson ( 2 yr old) hunt eggs. I didn't know i would have so much fun reliving the old days. After our church service - which was AWESOME by the way- we gathered with family and ATE all day. Oh and played Rook. I don't play but the diehards did. Nice and relaxing.

Finally got these glasses done and the neighbor boy brought me his knife to etch.
-
ok, got a guy at work - USCustoms- wanting to know if i can etch on the lower receiver AR for their rifles. ?? I am now sure if the blast cabinet with Alum Oxide will do that toughness. Any thoughts on what i can try/practice on ? Has anyone on here done this or any gun parts.? Also, when etching on pocket knives and such, would it need to be coated with anything afterwards? Help a girl out here !!!

was wondering that myself. Although this is for an 8 yr old boy so not too worried about it. I had to clean it good to even do this. Did you see my other post about etching on guns. That is one of the exact questions being asked by someone wanting it done. Check it out and let me know what you think. AND, what would you recoat with???
