Please help! :) I want to cut stained glass patterns out of vinyl.
Jay2703 replied to blauri68110's topic in General Help
I'm not a big illustrator user but when you create your lines, just make the center line then apply a stroke to it making it thicker. (1/16"-1/8") That would be your gap between when you cut. When you have all your lines created, weld them together and that will give you the shapes you are looking for. Not sure how well it would work on textured glass but maybe use static cling vinyl so that it is reusable. -
What he said ^^^^

A lot of the "Features" have to do with printing and not cutting. Most of the cutting features can be done with other functions and a couple of extra steps.

Have you tried Hobby Lobby or Michaels?

We haven't had any snow to speak of this year and I don't miss it.

You didn't mention which vinyl cutter you have but most should be capable of cutting heat transfer vinyl. Just remember to mirror the design before cutting it.

Can anyone here print white decals with a clear background?

Try CutME. He's done them for me and they turned out great. stickermonster1 @ gmail.com. Just take the spaces out of the email -
Works like that in Windows too. You can determine whether the software or printer controls the color settings.

It's hard at that temperature especially if you have any humidity. Did you try heating the window from the inside.

I buy half sheet labels at Staples or OfficeMax

I have a scale and use Priority mail to ship. You get delivery confirmation free when you use Priority. I pay for postage online and print labels. All I need to do is drop it in the box at the post office. Many here are available 24 hours a day. No lines to wait in either.

Welcome from a ways west of Dakota (Washington State, USA)

I had a Stratasys Mojo and that is why I sold it. You have to use their proprietary material which is expensive. Great idea though.

I like the jars. That's a great idea for here in Washington. Gotta keep it fresh. On the Filix shirt, can I ask why you left the black areas under the arms and tail and between the legs?

Looks great. Low mileage for a 2003.
