Faster speed in round shape cut

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

we notice that our copam 2500 have an acceptable cutting speed in straight line but really slow down in curves and round shapes. Is there a specific reason (driver or setting) or is it just normal. Our roland cx500 run a lot faster doing curves at the same speed setting.

Thks

Normal, it slows down on curvers, probably because of the stepper motors, whereas the Roland is probably built with a servo motor.
