ruger 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Can any answer this? Do they make a tracing device that i can use in sign blazer? i am currently using my mouse to trace using polyline ..BUT..it is a pain in the butt to go back and edit the nodes. I would think with a tracing pen there would be a lot less editing, or am i wrong? thanx, mike
darkdan 3 Posted October 6, 2008 Good tablets are very expensive. Cheap ones are horrible. You'll still have to go back and edit, but just less.

BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 16, 2008 read this review: http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/hardware/gr/digiprotablets.htm I bought one of them just to play with...I don't do much tracing. It works well, and sure beats the heck out of using a mouse. http://cgi.ebay.com/New-DigiPro-5-5-4-Graphics-Tablet-w-Cordless-Stylus-Pen_W0QQitemZ190257820605QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190257820605&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 $36 shipped. darkdan 3 Posted October 16, 2008 I don't know, after reading the user comments I'd still be weary: http://graphicssoft.wpadmin.about.com/?comments_popup=257831 The only people that said good things qualify the statement with, "Although I've never used a Wacom," or "I've never used a tablet before." BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 16, 2008 Looks like some pretty satisfied customers to me,except the ones wqho can't make it work with Vista which isn't surprising since a lot of people can't even make a cutter work with Vista. When YOU buy one, try it out...then make a judgement call. I already have one.
