acehole 1 Posted September 2, 2008 I am having trouble cutting this vinyl It seems as if my blade wont cut it seems to scratch the surface but not cut I keep increasing blade pressure to the point that it tears the vinyl and backing paper but still no luck I am using a 45 degree blade in a 24" Pcut with a cutting speed between 20 and 40 and nothing seems to work Would a 60 degree blade do better Anyone else had problems with this type of vinyl ?:) I have customers asking for this stuff but I cant get it to work can someone give me some help Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Rodger 527 Posted September 2, 2008 I'm not an expert , but when i started cutting reflective etc , my blade got dull . I replaced it & things went smooth . USCutter sells blades VERY cheap thru their e-bay auctions , you might want to buy a few extras , I did . seems the blades last forever if cutting regular vinyl as long as not cutting into the backing paper . regards , Rodger Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
