SynFX 1 Posted July 27, 2008 Thanks.. Im very very critical about my work.. I love it most days.. then the OCD will kick in and it becomes a job.. I take pride in doing the best I can.. 'anything worth doing is worth doing well' is how my work ethic is set.. I try to be careful with the jobs I take and turn down a few here and there to be safe.. Much of my experience has been more business oriented, not quite as many personal jobs as I would have liked though. Most of my experience I use when creating signs actually comes from my experience with Raster Images making websites, etc. The most important thing on any job is focusing on 'who' the business is and how 'they' act and feel about their store and/or products and services they may offer. Most of my design tips include one or two very small details about their design. As far as training.. I spent 4 years in art in high school.. no formal training in graphics at all.. all self taught.. wo0t!
Benr98 40 Posted July 27, 2008 I had to laugh, I took 4 years of art in high school and couldn't come close to what you produce!! Well your site and work are fabulous!!!

SynFX 1 Posted July 27, 2008 Well I would have to attribute my skills to being 'God Given'
Benr98 40 Posted July 27, 2008 The one thing I feel I have the most talent with is pencil drawings. It's been some time since I've done them though. As far as getting really good with computer graphics, etc....well I'm still learning!!
SynFX 1 Posted July 27, 2008 haha.. yeah.. when i did art.. penic, charcoal, chalk... thats all i used.. hate color.
Benr98 40 Posted July 27, 2008 Yeah pencil was the best!! I did a few in color that turned out 'pretty good', but prefer pencil all the way. I'll try to find a couple drawings I did and show ya....don't be to harsh now!! Jenny
SynFX 1 Posted July 27, 2008 HAHA.. I wont I promise.. I wish I still had access to the ones I did.. I think I have two left.. My Mama has them up in her house.. will have to go and snap some photos.. Im better with sketching inanimate objects.
Benr98 40 Posted July 27, 2008 I'll try to send them to you tomorrow. One is of a knight on a horse and the other is a small child. I wish I had more of mine also. Little did I realize I would still want them years later!! LOL

cherrybomb 0 Posted July 28, 2008 Man, I like your style. Clean design with Artistic flair showing through. I'm guessing your a bit of a fan for Photography, with B/W and sepia tones?... It kind of shows Done wright, I love sepia toned prints. .... Yeah, I dabbled a little at one time. Dan
SynFX 1 Posted July 28, 2008 Thanks.. comes from my background I guess.. I like anything monotone.. forces the eye to see it all rather than just a few parts.. Photography isnt so much my thing.. thats my sister's department.. she has that covered... I just have angles..
