ff-extreme 6 Posted July 17, 2008 I would like to delete the part of the flames that are within the Maltese cross so the image looks like the flames are behind the cross hope this makes sense. Can anyone help with this? mc flames.eps mc flames.eps

Jay2703 704 Posted July 17, 2008 FF, this is one way to do it: It will help to change the colors for selecting elements. Then you can right click in the color bar to get the color selection tool. Select the Maltese cross. Arrange + Split Objects (this will make the white elements seperate and turn gray) Select the back of the cross and the flames (Cross should be solid black now) Arrange + Weld + Punch Through Select the back of the cross and the gray parts too. Arrange + Combine Should be done.

Jay2703 704 Posted July 17, 2008 Here is Split Objects and Punch Through. You don't have them?
Jay2703 704 Posted July 17, 2008 If you right click in the color bar area at the bottom of the screen this toolbar shows up. Click on the auto select button and when you select the colors in the toolbar those elements are selected on the screen. Hold CTRL down to select more than one color.
