ff-extreme 6 Posted July 12, 2008 I have a customer that wants shirts screen printed. I don't do that but does anyone have a good place to outsource to?
firemalt 10 Posted July 14, 2008 I would recommend going local with an outsourcing project.
nonabelle 5 Posted July 14, 2008 hey ff, have u considered purchasing screenprint transfers and keep work in house. u have a heatpress. it's the same as screenprinting it's just on a transfer sheet. check out acetransfer company or transfer express. also ur customer doesn't have to know ur precedure as far as how u do it. ff-extreme 6 Posted July 14, 2008 Didn't know that was an option, so this company will put the screenprint material on a heat transfer paper?
malachiind 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Yes, they screen print onto a transfer sheet in mirror image. They add a sprinkle of release powder and you het press them onto the shirts. The only problem is that it is sometimes hard to get them straight, becuase unlike vinyl transfers, the paper is not clear. How many shirts, color, and locations are you looking at? rebjr 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Call Jay at 1-812-422-4303 and tell him Bob Bales said to call. He's accustomed to contract printing, drop shipping with your label, has a garment wholesaler in his hip pocket and runs a small automatic. He's a good dude and can price it where you make your needed % as well. He can handle anything from a dozen pieces and up.
