RegisG 0 Posted July 10, 2008 What do I need to learn to prevent small bubbles. I know I probably should do only wet as a beginner but, what causes the bubbles in dry applications? Is it going to fast or missing squeeging some tiney areas or what? I want to be able to do both wet AND dry where necessary. Will heat gun shrink bubbles? Or, is pin & squeege the only way? Just did a 24 X 36 sign in 3 parts (dry) and have probably 30+ tiney pin head size bubbles. Is there a better way than pin/squeegee? Thanks Regis .... learning....learning

RegisG 0 Posted July 13, 2008 Well, I'm convinced. Continue practice AND ordered Big Squeegee. I don't think that Big S will help on slightly convex windows and panels of cars/trucks so still have to be able to use smaller squeegee. Thanks all, Regis
firemalt 10 Posted July 13, 2008 Try using the "hinge" or "flap" method... and this will allow you to work from end to the other. This way you can hold the working end up in the air as you squeegee, working your way across the length of the decal, one each at a time.
