I have been using my Roland BN2-20A for a while for stickers and cutting. But want to do just solid vinyl decals - weeding is tough. I swear I saw somewhere about the tackiness of the vinyl to the backer paper. Anyone recommend a good vinyl for this? I'm cutting 4 inch or so decals for a car window (think sports mom, etc.). I have been using Macan Air Release, but it just comes off the backing too easily when weeding making it tough to keep it in place. Suggestions on a good vinyl to try for this?

Oracal 651 works great,  Been using for 19 years. Warranty 5-6 years for fading and cracking. Go on Ebay or other online decal sales. See what vinyl other sellers are using and their feedback and prices. You have to stay competitive to sell in this market/plus have good quality products. These are REAL world sales everyday.  Buy at US Cutter. Set your blade depth to the vinyl that you are using. Blade depth must be correct first.   To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should barely see and feel the blade tip out of the blade holder. Regular sign vinyl is only 2-3 mil thick. You only cut with the very tip of the blade. When you think the blade is so far in the blade holder, that you think it would not even cut, that is probably correct.    https://uscutter.com/outdoor-vinyl/#/filter:ss_category:Vinyl$253EOutdoor$2520Vinyl$253EOracal$2520651$2520Vinyl$2520Outdoor$2520Signs

For car windows, preferably 751 (cast) which holds up much better over time than the intermediate stuff.
