cncartworks 0 Posted April 9, 2007 Besides doing Vinyl , which I just started, I do Dimensonal signs and cnc routing. cncartworks 0 Posted April 14, 2010 You must decide how large your items will be. Then how fast. Is it for mass production or single items? After that you can start thinking about which machine.

cncartworks 0 Posted April 14, 2010 If you are looking at it as a hobbyist you make your own machine. If you want to make money you buy one . I bought mine.

Guest manwayvan Posted April 14, 2010 Thanks for the opportunity cnc..I have been looking over many homemade plans (Jgro, and the Model 2006) from cnczone.com..I have found that between all the suppliers its hard for someone new to come into the cnc field and piece a kit together that is as reliable as it could be. I am looking for something desktop in size so that I can route out aluminum and acrylic license plates with and something that is on the cheap side. Do you have any recommendations as to which models could handle the material best? Thanks again
