judycarter 0 Posted July 11, 2018 Can anyone tell me how to take a svg format and save it as a pes format so that I can cut and use my cut outs as appliques for my embroidery machine? What software do I need,?
darcshadow 1,627 Posted July 11, 2018 From a google search, PES files are the commands that are sent to the embroidery machine. You have to use PE-Design software to build your design and then generate the PES file. Do you have PE_Design software?
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted July 12, 2018 Yeah you will need the PE-Design software to start off with. I don't know if it will accept svg files but it looks like it will take eps files. You will import the file and then the program will let you use the file to turn it into a stitch file which is the pes file. The PE-Design program has to do that part. I am not familiar with that program but here are some tips I found on google. http://smallbusiness.chron.com/convert-illustrator-pes-format-52473.html
