GoldStarDad 2 Posted February 1, 2017 Eco Solvent printer Hello, I have a question about a 48" eco solvent printer, I not sure if it is true but I've heard a rummer that mutoh is doing away with ether the 48" printer or material for the 48" eco solvent printer. Dakotagrafx 7,298 Posted February 1, 2017 hadn't heard the rumor but wouldn't surprise me as most people I know have 54" printer cutters to do work on 48" material - a 48" printer more than likely wouldn't print a full 48" anyways. Rolands, Mimaki and even mutoh all have 54" so it really doesn't make sense to make a 48". make sure what every you get that you can get heads for it more than 2 years down the road. GoldStarDad 2 Posted February 5, 2017 Update on Mutoh 48" printer, I talked with mutoh corporate in Phoenix, Arizona and they told me approx by the end of the year they will be doing away with the 48" printer, they said it is old technology and at this time they do not plan on replacing it. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
