Font Identification

Hey everyone, I have a client who wants to use a specific font....I know I have seen this font before but can't remember the name of it at all.

It's a Roman style serif font... there's plenty of them just like that.

Grab some font software and pick one.

 

(Looking back over your previous content, most of your posts

are font identification requests. The one you're hung up on

is a fundamental style. I suggest you dig in a learn some

font basics if you want to advance in Commercial Graphic Design.)

Although it's just a basic font (Times New Roman, for instance), there was some KERNING done to separate the letters from each other.

(Kerning is spacing between letters, Leading is spacing between lines of text)

 

That being said, you're gonna have to eyeball (estimate) the amount of kerning which is appropriate to match the originals.

 

(SignBlazer, by the way, does not have a numerical kerning value to input, it's only got a little handle to drag, and there's no way to define the kern amount)
