I'm set at 60-70 down force. I just replaced the blade and now I'm way down to 20. Strange, same blades that came with cutter, I got a pack of three. Also, I thought I remember being able to push up on the tip of the blade and it was spring loaded? am I wrong?

I do not think they are spring loaded.......could be an inconsistancy with the blades.

When you buy replacement blades I'd suggest Roland brand instead of generic(compatible) if your holder accepts them.

I've never noticed a difference. But I don't do anything really tiny. 1/4 inch text is as small as I go.

I just dropped a Rolcnd 60 degree blade into my PCUT... I'll let ya know if there's any noticable difference.
