firemalt 10 Posted April 28, 2008 I have the newest version of Inkscape. Whenever I have the program open, and I try to add text, it doesn't allow me to pick any other choice of font style. They are all listed, but if I scroll to a certain font that I want to use, when I click on it to select it, nothing happens?!?! Has anyone else experienced this recently, or ever?!?! CyberSultan 6 Posted April 28, 2008 Not working for me either. Edit: Got it to work by using Shift + Ctrl + T. Once I modified some text using Shift + Ctrl + T, then that text was allowed to be modified using the toolbar from then on. New text does not seem to be able to be modified through the option on the toolbar. Definitely a bug.
Guest Terry Posted April 28, 2008 Mine works even with extra fonts I have added to windows, but I don't use it for anything like that. But when I change to ANY font it reduces REAL small, and need to drag it open.
CyberSultan 6 Posted April 28, 2008 Checked the bug tracker at Inkscape and this is a reported issue. No resolution yet.
firemalt 10 Posted April 28, 2008 Thanks for checking into that for me... I thought I was just doing something wrong. John... did you ever download the newest version, or are you still working off the old one?
Guest Terry Posted April 29, 2008 I have both versions myself. But I think the old version works, loads quicker.
Daniel_KZK 0 Posted May 11, 2008 Click on the "T" up in the toolbars, there you should be able to change your fonts.
