JPvinyl 60 Posted December 21, 2015 I'm trying to make a measuring stick/ height chart for my niece I want to prime and paint the piece of wood before applying the vinyl. Is acrylic craft paint a good surface for vinyl to adhere to or should I caught up the cash for a good interior paint? I know o can make a whole test piece and try but I figured I would try you guys first. Thanks for any help
jcart 11 Posted December 22, 2015 Never have used craft paint, but I use a good latex and usually seal with a polyurethane after installing the vinyl.

The app tape is what you need to worry about if the paint hasn't cured long enough just like any paint it will lift off with the app tape.
