Question about Graphic cut packages

Recommended Posts

My Nephew bought a ton of Cut Ready files from that guy online.  He's getting out of it and want to make a trade with me for his images.

From what I thought I've read...That Cut Ready does not have the best images in the world.  I looked at a few and they were soso.

Does anybody have any experience with the files from this place?   http://www.clipartandfonts.com

I will say he has about AGAZILLION files.  He also has some other stuff as well.  They all seem well organized etc.

It's more like half a gazillion images - there are duplicates between many of the categories.

I bought their big collection when they used to sell them on ebay and I do get a lot of use out of some of the images, but there are a lot of files that I'll probably never use.    There are also a LOT of copyrighted images - not like "hmm... that might be copyrighted" but "yeah, I'm gonna get sued if I use that".

For example, their Music collection is almost all band logos and record label logos - all of which are copyrighted.  There are Ford logos, Chevy logos, the Playboy logo - all very popular logos - all of them copyrighted.

The guy is basically selling CD's of copyright infringement's. I will admit I bought some but nothing like the rock band logos etc.  However I noticed some other images he has that are others property.

Looks overpriced. Bet you can get the same stuff from those $5-10 sellers on ebay.

He is one of "those sellers", his Sampler DVD.

I got a good ebay deal on his $100 Mega Vault when I started. It completely filled a 3" ring binder with the low resolution PDF pages. Has come in handy a couple times but is a little to much like a "tattoo book" tribal, sculls, naked etc. I have had no issue with the quality of the Ai images I have used. All have been ready to cut as advertised and completely segmented for easy editing or chopping up to use as parts.

Side note, I have had him vectorize a couple complex images. He usually emails them back very quickly (1-2hrs) and includes a Paypal link for payment never over $5.
