DNA_Vinyl 262 Posted December 11, 2014 So....the blade in my cutter can move pretty freely. Is that normal? I don't mean the entire holder...just the blade IN the silver holder. Is that bad?
DNA_Vinyl 262 Posted December 11, 2014 *Note. I should have made the title of this thread "Sit n Spin" damn.
DCMoney 91 Posted December 11, 2014 From my understanding you want it to spin, that way the blade cutting edge follows the direction of the programmed cut.

slice&dice 2,450 Posted December 11, 2014 It sits inside a bearing, and you periodically need to check that there aren't bits & pieces of vinyl stuck in there preventing it from spinning freely. Also, a drop or two of 3-in-1 oil inside the hole (take out the blade first) is a good regular maintanence procedure.
maxcat128 28 Posted December 11, 2014 'Best way to see it in action is to cut a "star" shape with sharp points and watch it spin as it changes direction..
