THEJTINS 29 Posted September 29, 2014 So if you price check your competition how do you go about doing it? Do you just call them up disguised as a potential customer and ask for a price quote? I mean I guess after awhile they would catch on to your voice and who you are.
pshawny 410 Posted September 29, 2014 Just get a general idea of what they offer and what they charge. Do things they aren't doing, won't do, or don't do a very good job at, and the customers will come. After that, focus on your business and don't think about the competition too much.
kylesmash 36 Posted September 30, 2014 Figure out your prices and go with them. I have never once "checked" to see what the competition is charging. I know I do good work and I know people will pay me for it, I think of it like this, people pay top dollar for a named brand product. I put myself out there as top of the line, I tell people my prices and if they don't like it I let them walk away. I know that they will come back if they want quality work
